It's always great weather in Dubai, so what's better to stay in a hotel near the beach? There are many public beaches in Dubai which can be visited be everyone, but the most luxurious hotels have a private beach. In general, the beach hotels in Dubai are among the most expensive hotels in Dubai and the prices are a lot higher at the hotels on the Palm and along the Jumeirah beach compared to the other hotels in Dubai. If you want to stay cheaper near the beach, it is best to stay near the JBR beach or the nearby Dubai Marina.

Hotels on the beach on the Palm

The hotels on the Palm Jumeirah are among the most luxurious and best hotels in Dubai and all have a private beach, which only hotel guests are allowed to visit. The best-known hotel on the Palm is the Atlantis hotel, one of the most famous sights in Dubai. Atlantis has a large private beach on the inside of the palm, but also the large Aquaventure water park where hotel guests have free access. Other well-known beach hotels on the Palm Jumeirah are the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Kempinski Hotel Palm, The Palm Sofitel Dubai, Waldorf Astoria Palm Dubai, Anantara the Palm and Rixos the Palm. These hotels are all located on the outer ring of the palm with the beach on the inside of the palm. It is also possible to stay on the leaves of the palm in your own private villa with private beach, but prices are very high.

Hotels on the JBR beach

At the JBR beach you will find some cheaper hotels on the beach, because JBR beach is a public beach. The disadvantage is that the hotels on the JBR beach do not have their own sunbeds on the beach so you have to rent them or bring your own towel. But the big advantage you will find many restaurants and shops and the Dubai Marina in the vicinity of JBR beach. You will find here the Amjaw Rotana, Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, JA Ocean View hotel, Doubletree by Hilton Jumeirah Beach, the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach, the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach resort and the Habtoor Grand resort. The prices and quality of these hotels are comparable. The Hawthorn Hotel and Suites by Wyndham JBR is slightly cheaper, but also a great choice. If you want to stay near the JBR beach but looking for a cheaper accommodation, you can find it in the nearby Dubai Marina. Here you have a large choice of hotels about ten minutes walk from the beach. Finally you will find some more expensive hotels with a private beach near the JBR beach: the Le Royal Meridien, the Ritz-Carlton and the Rixos Premium.

Hotels on the Jumeirah beach

On the Jumeirah beach you will find one of the most famous hotels of Dubai, the Jumeirah Beach hotel. This hotel has a private beach and six swimming pools. The advantage of the Jumeirah Beach hotel is that you get free access to the Wild Wadi water park located on Jumeirah beach as a hotel guest. This is also the case when you stay at the neighboring hotels Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Al Qasr or Jumeirah Mina A'Salam of the same chain, which also have their own private beach. A bit further along the Jumeirah beach you will find the Four Season Resort Dubai and the Bulgari resort. Finally, the cheaper but also less-rated Regent Beach resort and the Dubai Marine Beach are located on Jumeirah beach as well. These hotels are located near the Jumeirah mosque in the direction of historic Dubai.
